Eligibility for Admission
Candidates with at least 50% marks and above in the bachelor's/master's degree with at least two school subjects (English, Hindi, Urdu, Sanskrit, Mathematics, Botany + Zoology, Physics + Chemistry, Economics, Commerce, History, Civics, Political Science, Home Science and Geography) at the graduation level are eligible to apply. It is not sufficient for a candidate to have appeared at the degree examination and be awaiting results. He/she must already be in possession of the degree and the mark sheet. Those taking any other course simultaneously with the B.Ed. course are not eligible. Admission will be granted on the basis of 'Entrance Test' comprising of a written test and interview.

Admission Procedure
Admission would be taken on the basis of merit. The applicants are required to submit the degree certificate along with the mark-sheet of their Bachelor's Examination duly attested by a gazetted officer.

At the time of Admission
The candidate will be required to fill in the admission Form and submit it along with the following original certificates.

1. Marksheets and certificates (from matric to graduation / post-graduation level exam)
   
2. College leaving certificate;
   
3. Migration certificate (applies only to non-Magadh University students);
   
4. Caste Certificate issued by D.M / S.D.O. only (if S.C./S.T./O.B.C.)
   
5. A letter of release from the Head of the the School, where the candidate is now teaching (if applicable);
   
6. Six copies of recent passport size colour photos.
   
7. Admission Fee : D.D. of Rs 80,000/- in the name of "Veerayatan B.Ed. College", Pawapuri, payable at Punjab National Bank, Pawapuri, Nalanda, Bihar.

How to Choose Method Subjects

1. The college offers the following method subjects -
   
   • Teaching of Social Science : History / Geography / Economics / Civics (Political Science)
   • Teaching of Physical Science
     
   • Teaching of Life (Biological) Science
     
   • Teaching of Sanskrit
     
   • Teaching of Home Science
     
   • Teaching of Mathematics
     
   • Teaching of Primary Education
     
   • Teaching of Commerce
     
   • Teaching of Modern Indian Language Hindi / Urdu
     
2. Candidates are expected to choose any two of the above mentioned method subjects.
   
3. Applicants who offer Sanskrit / English / Hindi / Urdu / Political Science / Commerce / History / Geography/ Biological Science / Physical Science / Mathematics / Economics / Home Science in Paper-VII shall have studied the subjects at the Bachelor Degree stage or Masters Degree stage.

Reservation of Seats
The reservations shall be made and implemented in accordance with law. Few seats are reserved for Management for the admission of the candidates from Jain Community. Five seats are also reserved for the quota of fine arts.
